Working at eBay
Joining eBay during a massive company-wide rebrand was advantageous and hard work. There were only three Content Designers without a Director of Content and no systems or progresses in place to ensure projects were completed on-brand, on time, and executed correctly.
Creating the process of how Content Design is involved in all projects was a huge undertaking. I helped ensure all stakeholders understood the necessity for Content Design, included the Content Design team in all stages of the creative process — from prioritization to execution and into testing — and we assumed a proactive instead of a reactive position.
While working towards this goal, I was able to collaborate with visual designers, product managers, and VPs to execute multiple projects at one time, while continuing work on the style guide, and championing the voice, tone, and brand of eBay across all my content.
